Per NMC Act 2019 and FMGL Regulations 2021, NEET qualification is mandatory for Indian students wishing to practice medicine in India after completing MBBS abroad. No exceptions.
Minimum 54 months (4.5 years) of academic study + 12 months compulsory internship at the same foreign institution. Total minimum: 5.5 years. Must complete within 10 years of joining.
